What a Gem!

This is Ruby! Her mom, Kerry, is a friend of a friend and fellow Alverno College Graduate. Kerry had posted a blog a couple months ago about Ruby's journey and it really hit a chord with me. Ruby was born with Tetrology of Fallot, Pulmonary Atresia, Major Aortopulmonary Collateral Arteries, and 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome. You would have never guessed that yesterday! She was a happy and curious 1 year old. We went to Cedarburg's Cedar Creek Park, it was great. Sunny but not too hot. Ruby was feeling the grass and loved watching the man mow the lawn.
